Named one of "America's 100 Greatest Public Courses" by Golf Digest and ranked in the top 10 of Golf Digest's "Top 50 Courses in Myrtle Beach," True Blue has lived up to its preopening hype. True Blue was recently declared by Golf Digest to be the #1 Public Course in the Myrtle Beach Area." This well manicured layout features vast fairways and incredible elevations. The rolling terrain and native vegetation of this once thriving indigo and rice plantation makes for one of the most spectacular settings in golf. What a shame! I just read an article about why you redid the course in late 90's, to wit: you wanted more replay. I am in the 4th year of an annual trek to your wonderful area for some mid-October golf. We play 36 per day for 4-5 days. The first year i joined the group we were on the South side and stayed at your facility just off of hole number 17. we loved it! This year will be our first return to your facilities and we had hoped to "replay" on your fine course. Alas, it is not to be since you are unwilling to offer comparable replay rates. If replay is so important to you, why not? I would have loved to play your course twice.
