After its opening in 1998, Meadowlands Golf Club was given a golf course ranking in Myrtle Beach of "Top Ten Best New Courses" by North Carolina Magazine and it earned a spot on Golf for Women's prestigious list of "Top 100 Women Friendly Courses."

Respected architect Willard Byrd put his personal stamp on Meadowlands with distinctive parkland features that follow the lay of the land through mature woods bordered by serene meadows, pristine lakes and vast wetlands.
