Golf World Magazine Honors Local Golf Resorts

The readers of Golf World Magazine have chosen the 50 best public, private and resort facilities in the country for 2009. Three Myrtle Beach area courses – Shaftesbury Glen, Pawleys Plantation, and Sea Trail – were selected as part of the “Resort” list. These local courses share list with other resort courses like Pebble Beach, Pinehurst, Harbour Town, Innisbrook, and Doral.

Sea Gull Golf Club Has Become "The Founder's Club"

Sea Gull Golf Club has been redesigned by former Gary Player Design lead architect Thomas Walker and will run largely along the same route, but with new topography and elevation changes, as well as more native and waste areas to set tees, fairways and greens apart.
